Bassmaster Elite angler Casey Ashley has already made
a name for himself during his week in La Crosse.

Ashley sits in first place with a five-bass total
of 17-pounds and ten-ounces.
He entered today with really only one solid day of
practice here on the Mississippi River.
You know I really didn't know what I was going to
do if the fish weren't there, I was just going to
have to start from scratch and start to practice today,
that's what I was going to have to do.
But fortunately the first place I pulled down they
were there and I got them going pretty quick.
