Jason Kidd is leaving a veteran team that carried
postseason expectations....and joining an organization
that admits they are in
the starting stages of a three-to-five
year re-building project.
Kidd is introduced today as the new head coach of
the Milwaukee Bucks at a press conference inside the
BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The process of bringing Kidd to Milwaukee was a bit

Larry Drew was still under contract and with the club...and
general manager John Hammond wasn't initially part
Co-owner Marc Lasry admits he made a mistake in how
things were handled.
We're told today that Kidd left Brooklyn after his
agent asked for....and received permission....to talk
with other teams.
What we don't find out is why he was looking to leave.
In his first year ever as a head coach....Kidd led
the Nets to a 44-and-38 record...and a trip to the
Eastern Conference semifinals.
