A Sparta High School senior is a finalist in the national "Doodle 4 Google" art competition.

The winner will a get $30,000 scholarship and his or her artwork on the homepage of Google.com. The winner's school will receive $50,000.

Sabrina Brady's artwork called, "Coming Home" shows a young girl holding an American flag, running into her dad's arms after he comes back from his deployment.

When she was 10-years-old, her dad came back from serving in Iraq. He was gone for 18 months.

"When he came home it was unreal. It was definitely unreal. I just remember him coming off the plane and that's all I saw was my dad," Sabrina said. "It was challenging thinking of how to put it together to make it one visual thing for people to see and feel how emotional it was for me."

Sabrina is one of 50 state winners of the Doodle 4 Google competition. There were more than 130,000 entries. Students were encouraged to submit a piece of work inspired by the theme, "My Best Day Ever."

Each person can vote five times-one doodle per grade group (K-12).
