The next school year doesn't start until September, but parents in La Crosse looking to start their four year old need to start thinking about it next week.
Enrollment goes from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hogan Administrative Building, 807 East Ave. S., Room 106 in La Crosse. The date was pushed back from Monday.
To be eligible, the prospective student must turn four by September 1 and live within the School District of La Crosse.
This year, there are 16 sites hosting a program, but if you're looking to get into a certain location, school officials say you should sign up early.
The sites that are tentatively established for the 2014-2015 school year are:

"Typically we enroll almost half of our students that we have in the fall within the first week or two of enrollment, everyone's anxious to know where their slot will be with a two-and-a-half hour program, we have lots of daycare needs that people have for the other part of the day," says Mark White, the preschool supervisor.
