Northside students hold referendum "thank you" celebration

LA CROSSE, Wis. -

Students and staff at the Northside elementary school celebrated Friday the passing of the school district's referendum.

As a way to show the voters they appreciate the yes vote, students sang songs, put on skits, and heard from distinguished guests and the Logan High School band.

The school's principal says she is grateful for all of the hard work from staff and volunteers and hopes the students understand how important the new building will be for education.
