HOLMEN, Wis. -

Competitive biker or not, there was a race for everyone at the YMCA's Y-Cycle Weekend.

Day two of the races had bikers taking off from Evergreen Elementary School in Holmen Sunday morning on a 30-mile race.

There were two options, the Y-30, a competitive race, or the Y-NOT 30.

The Y-NOT 30 is new this year. It's designed to give people an opportunity to get out and be active without worrying about their time or where they place.

Organizers said the noncompetitive option seems to be a big hit.

"They want to come out and enjoy a ride but aren't super competitive, so the opportunity to sit back a little bit and wait for the competitive folks to go and for them to be able to enjoy a 30-mile ride too is nice. And it's nice when you have organizers who are setting things up. We have officers out there, so it's nice for people to ride and know that the course is safe and there's people out there." said the La Crosse YMCA's Director of Programs Alison Huppert.

About 150 bikers took part in the time trial races on Saturday and Sunday's 30-mile races.

The proceeds go towards the Y-s Strong Kids Campaign.
