The holidays are a happy time for most people, but for some it can bring on a wave of sadness and depression.

Christie Harris, a wellness education specialist from Gundersen Health system in La Crosse joined us on News 8 at 5 to talk about what people can do to.

If people are missing a loved one, Harris said they should “honor that person, remember the good times that you had and if holiday traditions that you used to have with that person, maybe it’s time to start some new traditions to make it a little easier process to get through the holidays.”
