Voters in Arcadia approve school referendum
$14 million referendum approved by a 64-vote margin
The Arcadia School District gets it wish for more space.
Tuesday night, voters approved a $14 million referendum to build a new middle school attached to the high school and update some facilities at the current elementary school. There was a 64-vote margin.
It's the third time voters have seen a question, but the first time with a flat impact to the the tax levy. The superintendent believes that made for the best chance to win community support.
