BROWNSVILLE, Minn. (WKBT) - Authorities have released the names of the two remaining passengers involved in the fatal boating accident near Brownsville, Minnesota Saturday afternoon, August 12.
Sonya Ann Burnikel, 47, of Spring Grove, Minnesota is still receiving care at Gundersen Health System and Wynn Dean Ristau, 41, of Preston, Minnesota was treated and released, authorities said.
PREVIOUS: A man who went missing after a boating crash Saturday evening on the Mississippi River near Brownsville, MN has been found.
The Vernon Co. Sheriff's Dept. says search crews recovered the body of Kevin Lee Hanson, 47, of Mabel, MN around 4:27 p.m. Sunday.
The boating crash happened around 6:00 p.m Saturday in the town of Bergen in Vernon County, just south of Brownsville.
A 32-foot, 10 passenger boat was going south and struck a concrete navigation marker directly across from Wildcat Campground and boat landing.
There were seven people on the boat, including the driver.
The sheriff's department says Diana Lynn Klankowski, 56, of Spring Grove was transported to the shore by a private boat and pronounced dead at 6:34 p.m.
Gerald Wayne Ladsten, 57, also of Sping Grove was taken to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse by Tri-State Ambulance and later released.
A woman, whose name will be released at a later time (Sonya Ann Burnikel), was taken to the nearest helicopter landing zone by Caledonia Ambulance and flown to Gundersen Health System by Med-Link Air.
Robert Alf Klankowski, 52, of Spring Grove was taken to Gundersen by Tri-State Ambulance.
Tracy Lynn Peterson, 40, of Spring Grove was taken to Gundersen Health System by Sparta Ambulance.
A man, whose name will also be released at a later time (Wynn Dean Ristau), was taken to Gundersen by Sparta Ambulance as well.
Rescue crews searched the river after the crash until 1:00 a.m. Sunday and the search resumed around 8:00 a.m. by a number of different agencies and volunteers.
Several boats were in the area at the time of the crash and responded to help the injured.

The crash is still under investigation by the Wisconsin DNR, Vernon Co. Sheriff's Dept., and the Vernon Co. Coroner's Office.
This update reflects a correction of Tracy Lynn Peterson's age from 50 to 40.
