While downtown La Crosse has plenty of shops and restaurants to visit, it also gives many people a place to call home.
As part of Historic Downtown Days, people could take part in the Downtown Tour of Upper Living on Sunday.
It's a chance to take a look at four different apartments and condos.
They're all located in the floors above downtown businesses.
Organizers hope the tours will show people the benefits of living downtown.
"In a downtown I think it's really successful when there's a lot of things that are happening and so as an organization, we want touring and to highlight the opportunities to people not only to shop downtown, but to live here, to work here and to play here," said Director of Downtown Main Street Inc. Robin Moses.
Residents who live in the units say living downtown isn't for everyone, but great for people who like spending time in the city.
"There is shopping and restaurants and if you like being apart of things that are going on, it's a great place to be," said downtown resident Kate Gerrard.
All proceeds from the tour benefit Downtown Main Street Incorporated.
