The Norwegian heritage was on display in Westby over the weekend.
The annual Syttende Mai Festival celebrates the 200th anniversary of Norwegian independence. The festival featured live music, a parade and food. There was also historic tours and arts and crafts.
Sunday there was a kids bike race, and a Royalty Tea where people could meet current and past Syttende Mai royalty.
The annual event has something for all ages. "It doesn't matter what age you are, if you're little you're out there looking for the troll and if you're older you're either at a quilt show, everyone has something to do at Syttende Mai and it's such an amazing time," said Miss Westby Syttende Mai 2014 Olivia Ahnen.
The weekend long event wrapped up Sunday night with a church service.
