LA CROSSE, WI (WKBT) -

A Madison teacher is in La Crosse bringing a unique look into a problem cities across the nation face.

Mark Kornblatt was at UW-La Crosse Sunday showing his documentary called "Street Pulse." It follows homeless people in Madison and their struggle to find work and a place to live.

Kornblatt says he's not an activist, he's just trying to share the stories of the struggles people face right around us in our own communities.

"These people know and see the value of spreading the message and all you have to do is look at all the different organizations that are here today even if the audience is a small one the people who finally see this film are the ones that might be activated as activists," says Kornblatt.
