We're following the damage left behind from Saturday
night's severe weather.
with more than 7-thousand customers out of power by
midnight, according to Xcel Energy.
This is a look through Citicam 8, when the rain first
Trees and brush are down throughout La Crosse.

Over on the north side, off of Gould Street.
neighbors say a tree took down a power line and caught
the roof of a house on fire.
Other neighborhoods in the city have been taped off
as police and fire crews work to bring power back.
This two-car accident happened at the intersection
of West Avenue and La Crosse Street in La Crosse earlier
The signal lights were out there at the time.
Police on scene said they have no comment at this
Across the city, multiple trees were down in the roads.
As you can see .
Crews were out all night, trying to clean up the mess.
On west avenue late Saturday night, nearly all the
street lights were out from jackson down to la crosse
Those downed trees were causing traffic delays all
over our area.
We also have a couple of pictures showing the damage
from across the city.
Ben Branson sent us this one from right outside the
station, on 6-th street.
Branches are down across the road.
Viewer Bethany Wemette sent in this picture, of a
tree crushing a car on north 9-th street, near Western
Tri-State Ambulance confirmed that a tree fell onto
a car with people inside over on Vine Street, though
no one was badly injured.
On the corner of Logan and Avon Street.

On French Island, viewer Ali Wiegel caught this picture
of a warehouse blowing apart.
Our photographers caught video of some of that debris
blowing across Airport Road there earlier Saturday
