Search resumes for missing man in Lake Namakagon
Authorities have resumed the search for a man who apparently drowned in Lake Namakagon in northwestern Wisconsin.
The Bayfield County Sheriff's Office says the accident was reported about 3:30 p.m. Friday. The 911 caller said a 69-year-old man from the Madison area fell out of his boat. His fishing partner tried to help him, but he disappeared under the water of Lake Namakagon in southern Bayfield County.
Searchers from several agencies including the Sawyer County Dive Team continued the search Saturday but were unable to find the victim, whosename has not been released.
The search resumed Sunday.
