Saturday is the last day of Riverfest, and organizers say this year's weather has been perfect for the festival to accomplish their goals.
Their main objective was to give the community a place to celebrate without having to leave the area. They say that's something that would not be possible without a working team.
"There's about 16 board of directors that we have that work year-round on the actual project," said Riverfest president Nick Bjerke. "Then we, of course, have our commodore staff and all of our volunteers, and those number in the hundreds."
Riverfest wraps up Saturday night with Boogie and the Yo-Yoz, who take the main stage at 9 p.m.
