SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) -

Crews continued to fix the damage on Friday at the Gundersen Health System Clinic in Sparta. The clinic closed early on Tuesday after a water leak through the roof damaged more than half of the building.

Contractors have been busy pulling up all of the carpet and repairing drywall damaged from standing water.

David Campbell, the clinic manager, expects to work to be finished Sunday night, and that the furniture will be back in the exam rooms on Monday. "We really appreciated the fact that our patients were so tolerant of the circumstances that occurred here. And are very happy that many of them came to see us over at the Tomah clinic. We know it's a drive. It's an inconvenience. But we really are anxious to get back and serve the community of Sparta," said Campbell.

The clinic is expected to open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
