MONROE COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) - A 44-year-old woman was injured when she lost control of her motorcycle and ended up in a ditch on CTH in the Town of Clifton Sunday at about 5:10 p.m.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said Elizabeth Walker, of New Lisbon, was southbound on CTH A about a quarter mile North of Kraft Ave when her motorcycle lost traction on loose sand on the roadway.

Walker's motorcycle entered the northbound shoulder and came to rest in a water-filled ditch. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said she received minor injuries from the motorcycle going in the ditch. She did not require medical attention and left the scene by personal vehicle.
