Husband, wife killed in crash near Richland Center

RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. - Two people are dead after a head-on crash just north of Richland Center Friday afternoon.

It happened about 4:10 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 80 at County Trunk Highway AA. 

According to the Richland Co. Sheriff's Department, a white truck collided head-on with a car. One of the vehicles landed on its top.

The sheriff's department says 70 year old Stephen H. Rowland and his 57 year old wife, Nina, of rural Richland Co. were killed in the crash. 63 year old Lonnie L. Kreeger of Richland Center was injured and transported to the Richland Hospital.

The sheriff said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
