FBI arrests Wisconsin fugitive in Arizona

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation along with Lake Havasu City Police and the Mohave County Sheriff's Office captured a Wisconsin man wanted by federal authorities.

FBI spokesman Manuel Johnson tells the Today's News-Herald Danny Lee Warner was taken into custody Thursday at a McDonalds.

Warner faces numerous felony charges in multiple states, including possession of a firearm by a felon and parole violation in Wisconsin. He also faces misconduct involving weapons in Mohave County, possession of stolen property in California and a federal warrant for unspecified charges.

Johnson says the FBI had received a lead from their Milwaukee office that led to the arrest.

Warner had violated his parole and was a felon in possession of ammunition. He is currently being held in Lake Havasu City pending an appearance before a federal magistrate Friday.
