'Aaron Rodgers Rises' video goes viral

Rodgers to start against the Bears Sunday

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) - A University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student created a YouTube video on the return of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Fans have been waiting for Aaron Rodgers to lead the Packers since suffering a broken collarbone on Nov. 4. Head coach Mike McCarthy broke the news of Rodgers' return on Thursday.

UW-Whitewater student Jon Haas posted the video, "Aaron Rodgers Rises" to YouTube on December 27. It shows a short clip from the movie, "The Dark Knight Rises" and a Rodgers highlight reel of sorts.

"I'm a big fan of Batman and "The Dark Knight" trilogy and an even bigger fan of the Packers," Haas told News 8 via Twitter. "I was excited to hear the news of Aaron Rodgers' return and I decided to combine a couple of my favorite things into one video!"

The winner of Sunday's game will clinch the NFC North and make the playoffs.
