A group calling themselves the La Crosse Patriots gathered on the pedestrian overpass on I-90 on French Island Saturday.

The group is protesting a Town of Campbell ordinance that prohibits rallies on the overpass.

They've held rallies there before calling for the impeachment of the President. The town says it's too dangerous because it could distract drivers who are going at high speeds on the interstate.  But the group says the ordinance violates their rights.  "This is a public sidewalk," says Jerry Miller, a state leader for Overpasses For America, "the First Amendment allows us to have the right to participate in a rally on the public to express our greivences with the government, and that's what we're here to do."

Four people were cited by police at Saturday's rally, but no one was removed from the site.
