A candidate hoping to unite the state Supreme Court visited our area Wednesday.
Marquette University Law School Professor Ed Fallone campaigned in La Crosse. He's trying to win the 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Fallone is taking on one-term incumbent Pat Roggensack in the election.
Fallone says the biggest challenge the court is facing right now is the dysfunction between justices. "None of the justices have a grudge against me, none can predict how I'll vote on any particular case, and I also have a lot of experience. I've proven I can be an independent thinker, and I don't personalize policy differences and I know how to build consensus and compromise in order to get positive results," said Fallone.
Roggensack has said the election should be more about experience than anything else.
The election is April second.
