New poll gives Obama, Baldwin lead in Wisconsin
A new poll released Wednesday shows democrats taking the lead in Wisconsin.
The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows President Obama with an 8 point lead over Mitt Romney in the state. Obama has 51% to Romney's 43% percent in the poll with a margin of error of 2.7%. The same poll two weeks ago showed the race as a virtual tie.
The poll also shows Representative Tammy Baldwin with a lead over former Governor Tommy Thompson in Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race, 47% to 43%. However, 10% of voters polled said they are still undecided which leaves that race very much up for grabs.
