ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -

Most of Minnesota's 2012 election results are on the verge of becoming official.

The five-member State Canvassing Board planned to ratify vote counts for races across the state. The panel comprised of Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and four judges was meeting Tuesday.

The board was expected to order two legislative recounts. One involves an unofficial 11-vote advantage by Republican Rep. Mary Franson of Alexandria and the other a 78-vote edge by Democratic candidate Kevin Dahle in a Northfield-area district.

Democrats will have majorities in both legislative chambers regardless of the recount outcomes.
