La Crosse's two mayoral candidates started their Wednesday morning with a debate.
Tim Kabat and Doug Farmer appeared on the local radio show "Today's Talk 1490 with Bob Schmidt."
Less than two weeks from the election, they answered questions about the city's future, why they would make the best leader, and what sets them apart from their opponent.
"I have worked neighborhood preservation into every single debate at city council one way or another for the last 20 years. Now I can't say that it's the one issue of this campaign because of my efforts, but I certainly have worked hard at that for the last 20 years. So that's a difference.," said Farmer.
"I've been, 20 years of my life as somebody who is a public servant who has worked with communities, who has tried to work very hard to make those communities better places to live and work every day through my actions versus my opponent who has been on the city council for a long time," said Kabat.
The election for La Crosse Mayor is set for Tuesday, April 2nd.
