Stratford businessman Bob Kulp has won the Republican primary election for the 69th Assembly seat.
According to unofficial election results from all 56 precincts in central Wisconsin, WAOW-TV reports Kulp had 44 percent of the vote in the four-way GOP race. The Assembly seat was vacated last month by former Republican Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder.
In Milwaukee County, unofficial returns show Jessie Rodriguez winning the Republican primary for the District 21 seat previously held by Mark Honadel of South Milwaukee. The school choice advocate from Franklin will compete with Democrat Elizabeth Coppola in the general election Nov. 19.
