WASHINGTON, D.C. -

Wisconsin Congressman Ron Kind called the speech a good start to the President's second term.

He says the president still has a lot he wants to accomplish and a lot he'd like to see congress accomplish. But Kind feels today's speech wasn't directed at Congress.

"It's almost as if he was speaking past the Congressional members and directly to the American people saying we can do this, but it's time that we come together as Americans again," Congressman Kind said.

The president mentioned immigration, gay rights and climate change in his inaugural, Kind says we'll hear more about his expectations for the second term in the upcoming state of the union address.
