MADISON, Wis. (AP) -

Police say they've arrested a man in connection with the death of a 36-year-old Plover woman.

Waupaca County Sheriff's deputies discovered Jamie Koch's body in a burned vehicle in the Town of Harrison on Wednesday morning. Investigators are treating the case as a homicide.

Five agencies working on the case, including the state Department of Justice, released a joint statement on Friday saying police arrested a man on Thursday evening. He was booked into the Portage County jail on suspicion of first-degree reckless homicide and hiding a corpse.

The statement but did not offer any further details. A DOJ spokeswoman listed as the media contact for the agencies didn't immediately return messages.
