The Holmen Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a suspect involved in a hit and run December, 3.

According to authorities,  a woman was traveling south on HWY 53 when a semi merged from the passing lane and struck her car, causing it to go off the road and roll several times.

“We do not know who the semi truck is, what color it is or anything like that. That's why we're calling out to the public, Hopefully, if they identify it or were a witness in that area that they should be able to come up with a semi truck," says Terry Kind, a K9 handler for the Holmen Police Department.

Police say the victim was not severely injured, but was transported to the hospital by her mother.

Anyone with details is asked to call the Holmen Police Department at (608)-785-6942 or (608)-562-4212. Authorities would also like trucking businesses with GPS’s to review locations of their fleets at the time of the crash.
