Onalaska woman arrested for 3rd offense OWI
An Onalaska woman, who police say was driving without a valid license, faces a 3rd offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) charge.
La Crosse police arrested Maggie Bilot, 27, on Thursday at about 2:15 a.m. in downtown La Crosse.
While conducting standardized field sobriety tests, dispatch told the police officer that Bilot needed to have an ignition interlock device installed and that she was not to operate with an alcohol content level over .02, the criminal complaint states. Police say Bilot's preliminary breath test (PBT) registered .076.
La Crosse police arrested Bilot for operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration, for operating over the .02 level. Bilot was also cited for failing to install an ignition interlock device.
Bilot faces several charges, including operating with prohibited alcohol concentration-3rd offense; operate motor vehicle while revoked; and failure to install interlock device, extend order for ignition interlock device.
