About 1,000 people turned out for Onalaska's Community Thanksgiving Dinner.  This is just the 3rd year the Onalaska Enhancement Foundation has held the event, but it continues to grow every year.

Along with the traditional Thanksgiving food, there was also a TV to watch the Packer game, and a game room for the kids.

Cyndi Hafner came from near Mindoro, and  was joined by family from Richland Center and Onalaska.  She says it was a blessing to be able to bring in family from so many different areas all to one event. "The volunteers are wonderful, the food is great," says Hafner, "everything about it is just perfect, you couldn't ask for a better way to have a holiday."

Like the La Crosse dinner, the Onalaska event is made possible through thousands of dollars in donations from people in the community.
