Three questions. That's what will be on the ballot for voters in the Onalaska School District come February.
The district is looking for money to upgrade technology, expand its operating budget, and make improvements at Northern Hills Elementary.
Monday night, the School Board approved going to referendum and asking each question individually.
The school's superintendent is optimistic after a community survey showed support for all of the school's needs separately. "The thing that hasn't been discussed yet is that they're all important and that's the key. Some people might look at three questions and say which one is it that they don't want, but really they're all important," said Fran Finco.
An earlier estimate from the district predicts the tax increase on a $100,000 home would be about $67.
