The Onalaska Rotary Club is helping hundreds of people enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together.
On Monday night, the club handed off a $2,000 check to support the annual Community Dinner. The funds are from the organization's 5k walk back in April.
This November will be the third time Onalaska has hosted a meal. In the two years, nearly 1,500 people have been fed.
"The Onalaska Community Thanksgiving Dinner reflects the same norms and values that we have as a club, it's a great way for us to give back," says Anthony Schmidt, this year's Onalaska Rotary Club president.
This is the second year the club has donated to the meal.
