ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) -

City of Onalaska residents are invited to give their input about the future of the City.

The City will host two visioning meetings at the Omni Center, 255 Riders Club Road, on Wednesday June 18 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, June 19 at 7 a.m. The meetings will help the City update its Comprehensive Plan.

“These meetings are intended to be an opportunity for citizens to weigh in on how the City will look going forward,” Onalaska Planning and Zoning Inspector Katie Meyer said in a statement.  “It’s a way for everyone to have a voice in how Onalaska will approach the next decade.  We’ll be discussing new places for businesses, new residential areas, traffic, and Bluffland Protection to name a few. We are hoping for a real, vital partnership with the citizens on this initiative so if you want your voice to be heard on the future of our City please come to one of the meetings and bring your ideas.”

The City will be assisted by SEH, a multi-disciplined engineering/architecture/planning firm with offices across Wisconsin.
