ONALASKA, WI -

Onalaska Firefighters will once again be lining the streets with boots in hand this weekend.

The annual "Fill the Boot" fundraiser starts Friday afternoon.

Firefighters will be at three locations collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Drivers passing by can just roll down their windows and firefighters will come up to their car with a boot  to drop their money in.

"We recently started doing it, like I said 5 years ago, and our goal is to raise more money than we did last year and last year we raised about $10,000," said firefighter Brian Everson.

Firefighters will be at the Onalaska Festival Foods, and the intersections of Theater Road and County Road OS, as well as 2nd avenue and main street.

They'll be out Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
