1955: Hall of Fame shortstop and center fielder Robin Yount, who spent his entire 20 year MLB career with the Milwaukee Brewers, is born in Danville, Ill. The three-time All-Star collected 3,142 hits and 251 home runs in his career, which also saw him earn the American League MVP in 1982 and 1989.
