1925: Blues guitarist and singer-songwriter B.B. King is born Riley B. King in a small cabin on a cotton plantation outside of Berclair, Miss. King, considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time and nicknamed "The King of Blues," is known for hit songs such as "3 O'clock Blues," "The Thrill Is Gone" and "Sweet Little Angel."
