1944: Actor and film director Harold Ramis, best known for his roles in "Ghostbusters" and "Stripes," both of which he co-wrote, and for directing movies such as "Caddyshack," "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Groundhog Day" and "Analyze This," is born in Chicago, Illinois. He died at age 69 on Feb. 24, 2014, of complications from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis.
