1952: Actress Christine Baranski, known for her TV work on the series "Cybill," "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Good Wife," is born in Buffalo, New York. Baranski, who has also appeared in movies such as "The Birdcage," "Chicago," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Mamma Mia!," rose to fame as a Broadway actress, winning two Tony Awards, and continues to work on stage in addition to her screen appearances.
