1975: The movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" premieres in Los Angeles, Calif. The movie was the first from the Monty Python troupe composed of new material and proved to be a box office success, becoming the highest grossing of any British film exhibited in the U.S. in 1975. Today, it is considered by many critics to be one of the best comedies of all time.
