1930: Actor Robert Loggia, best known for roles in movies such as "Scarface," "Jagged Edge," "Big" and "Independence Day" (pictured), is born Salvatore Loggia in Staten Island, New York. He died of complications from Alzheimer's disease on Dec. 4, 2015, at the age of 85.
