1967: The Green Bay Packers win the National Football League championship game by defeating the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 at Lambeau Field in Green Way, Wis. The game is known as the "Ice Bowl" since it was played in a wind chill of 40 degrees below zero. By winning the game, the Packers earned the right to move on to face American Football League champion Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl II.
