1992: Blues musician Albert King, a major influence in the world of blues guitar playing whose best-known song was 1967's "Born Under a Bad Sign," dies of a heart attack at the age of 69 in Memphis, Tenn. King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
