1982: Country singer LeAnn Rimes is born in Jackson, Mississippi. Rimes, who rose to fame in 1996 at age 13 with the release of her version of the Bill Mack song "Blue," is also known for songs like "One Way Ticket (Because I Can)," "How Do I Live," "On the Side of Angels," "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" and "Something's Gotta Give."
