1954: Filmmaker Michael Moore, best known for documentaries such as "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Bowling for Columbine," "Sicko" and "Roger & Me," is born in Flint, Michigan. "Fahrenheit 9/11" is the highest-grossing non-concert documentary of all time and winner of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, while "Bowling for Columbine" won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
