1958: Singer-songwriter and music producer Babyface is born Kenneth Brian Edmonds in Indianapolis, Indiana. Babyface, who helped start the careers of TLC, Usher and Toni Braxton, co-wrote and produced Whitney Houston's "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and also wrote and produced Boyz II Men's "End of the Road" and "I'll Make Love to You," both of which established records for the longest stay at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
