Seasoned Flank Steak & Peppers
Makes 4 servings
Equipment you will need: large skillet, medium skillet, cutting board, chef knife, large spoon
Do right away when you get home: action step 1
1 medium onion 2 large bell peppers 2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1 ½ lb. flank steak
4 medium red potatoes
1. Slice onion and bell peppers into thin strips; mince garlic.
2. In medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onion, peppers and garlic in oil until tender-crisp, stirring frequently. Set aside.
3. In a sprayed large skillet, add soy sauce, honey, vinegar and beef. Cook beef, stirring frequently until done, about 10-15 minutes. Stir in cooked vegetables and cook 10-15 minutes more.
4. Meanwhile, make “baked” potatoes (see tip below). Serve with steak and peppers
