Glazed Mini-Meatballs

Extra lean ground beef
Red onion
Currant jelly
Check pantry for:
Bread crumbs
Ground nutmeg
Ground black pepper

Suggested side items:
Mashed potatoes
Salad with tomato, cucumber and green onion


Serves 4 (about 8 meatballs per each)

1 lb. extra lean ground beef
½ small red onion, finely chopped
½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
¾ tsp. salt
? tsp. ground black pepper
½ cup currant jelly 

Combine the first 6 ingredients. Mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls and broil 5 to 6 minutes, until internal temperature of meat reaches 155 degrees. In a large skillet, heat ½ cup currant jelly; add the meatballs and toss to coat.
