Sweet ‘n’ Sassy Meatballs

Ingredients
2 eggs

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 Tbsp. chili sauce

1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs

2 Tbsp. dried minced onion

1 tsp. dried oregano

3/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1 lb. Italian turkey sausage links
1 lb. lean ground turkey

1/2 cup reduced-sugar apricot preserves
1 cup chili sauce
Cooking spray

Action:

1. Combine ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Remove casing from sausage links. Crumble sausage and turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls with your hands. Cooking spray

3. Coat baking pan with spray. Place meatballs in a shallow pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
4. Combine preserves and sauce in a large bowl. Add cooked meatballs and toss gently. Coat 10x15-inch pan with spray and place meatballs on pan. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes until glazed, stirring every 3 minutes.
