Italian Tortellini Soup
Makes 10 servings

1/2 lb. lean ground turkey
4 cups water
2 (14.5 oz.) cans Italian stewed tomatoes
1 (10.5 oz.) can condensed French onion soup
1 (12 oz.) bag broccoli slaw mix
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen cut green beans
1. Break sausage into small pieces and brown in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add ingredients to pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. 2 cups frozen cheese tortellini
3. Add tortellini to pot. Cover and cook at medium heat for 5 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Suggested Side Items: Grilled Eggplant and Portobello Sandwich (September 12th recipe) and fresh fruit
Tips: Freeze leftovers in small portions for reheating as a side to your favorite sandwich or salad. Use low sodium French onion soup and no-added-salt canned tomatoes to reduce the sodium content of the recipe.
